Blinking Hell

In Liz We Trust

Doesn’t seem like just over a year that the Conservative Party foisted upon us, what they considered to be a younger upgrade of The Iron Lady, but it didn’t take long for them or indeed the nation to realise that it was more a case of The Tin Foil Mannequin. No matter how much Liz dressed like Maggie or rode around in tanks, she just wasn’t cut out to lead, apparently “Couldn’t lead a Conga” (unknown source from one of those parties that were not actually parties). The Conservative Party took us for mugs but in their defence we the electorate have swallowed all the excrement they’ve spoon fed us for years, Austerity, Brexit, PPE contracts, tax cuts for the better off that was not asked for or even welcomed and finally their version of musical chairs. The Summer Holiday Prime Minister (on the account that she lasted just over 6 weeks) was an experiment created by those who felt that celebrity could replace credibility. We were then, left without a credible government (not saying the ones before were) that to this day continues to make incredible claims. Liz’s tenure of the highest political office in the land had reportedly cost the exchequer 30 BILLION POUNDS (try not to ever forget that figure as politicians love to throw out figures especially during budgets or elections).

Education Secretary Gillian Keegan has said that to pay all those public sector workers (who so tirelessly worked during the pandemic, our words not hers) would cost 28 BILLION, as Education Minister she’d notice that the Government would still be 2 Billion pounds up if they hadn’t Trussed us up like an oven ready chicken. In a blink of an eye this fact seems to have been forgotten as we saw week in and week out those same striking workers from different professions fighting for what should have been given to them without hesitation.
In the meantime, we must endure the hell created by an ideological government that have no idea what the average working man and woman have to face day in and day out as it seems they are blinkered and unable to see reality, instead acting as if they have our interests at heart. It’s only a matter of time before the final curtain falls on this tragic comedy and this cast of bad actors are consigned to history.

Speaking of acting here is long time Conservative supporter Michael Caine giving some aspiring actors some tips, it’s a pity he didn’t pass on this knowledge to the aspiring leader Liz (who is busy reinventing herself, ready to be cast in rather than cast out).
